Healthy Church

In response to the current health concerns surrounding Coronavius, your White Oak leadership team is working to take preventative measures to protect all those attending services. As an FYI, recommendations from health care organizations and other churches inspired these procedures.

While these are unique ways we are responding, it will take each of us doing our part for us to be a “Healthy Church”:

  • We are mask-friendly. Currently, masks are welcome but not required.

  • All hard surfaces are wiped with an antibacterial solution and use disinfecting spray on fabrics. Before and between services, the Worship Center is "fogged" with a disinfectant. Our Wonderland Kids and Pre-K/Nursery areas will be deep cleaned.

  • Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the building and antibacterial soap in the restrooms.

  • Collection boxes are available for you to use for your tithes. However, we will also have a formal time to collect offerings during the service. (Reminder, we offer secure online giving through this site.)

  • Coffee service is now available in the Connect Corner.

  • Lord's Supper. As a precautionary measure, individual packets containing the necessary elements are provided. As these will not be gluten-free, please let us know your needs ahead of time so we can prepare to serve you.

  • We also encourage you to participate as the “Church of Nod”... Graciously greet one another with a heartfelt “Hello!” and nod, but withhold a handshake. And, all the introverts said...

  • As per the Department of Health and CDC: wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and stay home when sick.

As a reminder, our sovereign God is always in control and He works in everything, together for our good. During this time, it is easy to fall into a trap of trepidation and anxiety. However, in prayer, we are to give all our fears to the One who loves and cares for us. Especially in times like these, we are also to be examples to the world as we have a peace in Christ that goes beyond understanding.
