Scott Bolton has been Pastor of White Oak Baptist Church since September 2017; and he has served churches in California, Virginia, Florida, and Tennessee since 1992. Scott is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, and left California after high school to attend college in Virginia. He is a 1992 graduate of Liberty University, VA, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Church Leadership, and holds a Master’s of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA. Scott and his wife, Jennifer, were married in 1993, and have three children: Kaitlyn, Autumn and Cody.
Jennifer is actively involved with our Wonderland Kid’s Ministry, our Women’s Ministry, and plays with the Celebration Bell Ringers. Scott has enjoyed being involved in the community through various schools, athletic and civic organizations. He has coached junior football and baseball, served as the Character Coach for the West High School football team, and is currently a member of the Board at the Archer Lodge Community Center.
Dara is a lifelong member of White Oak Baptist Church and has been our Music Director for many years. She leads the Adult and Children’s Choirs, the Adult Handbells Group known as Celebration Ringers and is responsible for all music at White Oak Baptist Church. Dara owns a music studio in Clayton where she has taught piano to countless children in the area. White Oak Baptist Church is blessed to have Dara provide her musical talents to our church. Dara has two children, Will (and his wife Catherine) and Ally.
Bryant Wilson has been the Worship Assistant at White Oak Baptist Church since December 2018. He is originally from Marion, SC. After high school, he attended college in Charleston, SC and received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration for the College of Charleston in 2017. While in college, he attended and served with the Charleston Baptist Collegiate Ministries, and worked as a Ministry Intern upon graduating. He served on the Worship Team for BCM all five years; playing the guitar and singing, and led the team as Worship Leader his final three years. While in college and at BCM, Bryant met his wife, Violet, and they have been married since May, 2017. Bryant is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest.
